The New Road and Street Works Act 1991 requires those operatives working on the highway to hold the relevant City & Guilds 6156 Units and be supervised by a suitably qualified person.
Those individuals involved in Winter Maintenance operations are also required to hold the relevant City & Guilds 6159 qualification.
